Simone, better known as Simon J, has been in the world of radio since the summer of 2001, but his passion has more distant origins when as a child he went around with the microphone to interview his relatives during lunches or dinners. He started as a sound engineer and director, but his real passion was being in front of the microphone. So, after he studied, his first voice episode was in December 2002, when he conducted “House Paradise Chart”, the ranking of the 20 best house records of that year. After that, he conducted a bit of everything: from entertainment programs to charts, to thematic music (Black, Italian…)
In 2008 he arrived at Radio Per Passione (Puglia), where he reported, together with Mr Ency, their creation “House Paradise”.
“Cocktail Chant” was born the following year, a program that collects all musical genres that “little” you listen to in commercial radio: soul, jazz, funky, ambient, chillout…
Over the years he put records around and animated private parties.
